Get to know the herd at Finca El Algarobbo who will be your constant companions, facilitators and mirrors throughout the retreat. Each horse has a story to tell and through their varied life experiences so they offer you the chance to meet your inner self.

Heart Communication

One to One Healing

Receive a personal healing from Sally and the herd. Relaxing on the therapy bed in the paddock, Sally will use the Shamanic drum, channelled energy, light language and unite with the energy of the horses for your highest healing and well being.

BEFORE...

The healing session with Sally and the herd was an incredibly powerful experience. The moment I heard the drum, I felt we were moving deep into another estate of awareness. I started feeling my body reacting to the drumming and when I heard her voice then I felt like thunder hitting my chest and a huge wave of emotion came up and out. I could hear a horse close to me...it was really touching to feel his presence, to know that he had chosen to come close to me and to be part of this experience. When the session ended I was completely attuned to the horse's energy and I had to stay in presence with him while he was also travelling inwards within himself. The days after I felt an increased sense of opening, connection and sensitivity towards the “others” around me, but also towards the wounded part of myself that showed up during the session.

I highly recommend this retreat to anybody who feels there is a possibility of finding healing and an increased state of awareness when we open to vulnerability and curiosity in the presence of animals, especially if the horse is an animal that means something powerful to you.

Meet Chinook

Sally's Personal Healing Experience

This is Chinook Silverwind, one of the very rare Spanish Mustangs at Windchaser Ranch in northern Spain. Chinook is a 'healer' horse and when Sally went for a ReWilding day with Rachel Windchaser at the ranch, it became an unexpectedly powerful shift in her own healing, self awareness and transformation. Sharing a deep energetic and emotional connection for over half an hour, Chinook repeatedly chose to stand close to Sally and there were several emotional exchanges that became physical reactions in Sally's body. Tears of pent up grief and fear turned into tears of joy, a deep deep sense of truly being seen and waves of profound love, were just some of Sally's experiences in Chinook's presence. These private and powerful moments affirmed Sally's longing to be with horses along her own healing path.

Windchaser Ranch is an incredibly special place and has made history by returning the Spanish Mustang to Spain for the first time in 200 years. The herd live a natural life and the relationship between Rachel and the horses is built on mutual trust and respect with ethical communication.
